ByrdAdatto's Newest Partners 2026

ByrdAdatto is excited to announce that Samuel Pondrom and Grace Lee have been made partners of the firm. This milestone reflects the firm’s continued growth and its long-standing commitment to cultivating leaders who exemplify ByrdAdatto’s mission to protect health care practices.

Sam joined ByrdAdatto in 2016 with a focus on helping physicians and health care entrepreneurs navigate the legal and regulatory complexities of owning and operating medical practices. His practice centers on transactional and regulatory matters, including entity formation, mergers and acquisitions, corporate practice of medicine, and ongoing compliance for a wide range of health care businesses. Samuel is known for his practical, business-minded approach and his ability to translate complex legal requirements into clear, actionable guidance for clients.

In addition to his client work, Sam is deeply engaged in the firm’s educational and thought leadership efforts. He regularly speaks at medical conferences around the country and writes on health care law topics, helping providers stay informed about regulatory developments that affect their practices.

“I could not be more excited to achieve partnership at ByrdAdatto,” Sam said. “I’ve worked with Jay, Michael, and Brad since they took a chance on me as a clerk and to now become partners with them really is an incredible feeling. I look forward to continuing to grow and develop in my new role with the firm.

Grace joined the firm in 2021 following an early career in litigation. In addition to guiding clients through business challenges in health care, Grace focuses her practice on employment law. She works closely with physicians and health care entrepreneurs, helping clients manage workforce-related risks in a way that supports compliance, growth, and long-term operational success. Grace is known for her strategic mindset and her ability to manage complex transactions with precision and clarity.

Grace is also an active contributor to the firm’s thought leadership, frequently speaking and writing on health care law issues affecting modern medical practices. Her work has earned repeated peer recognition, including D Magazine Best Lawyers Under 40, Best Lawyers®: Ones to Watch, and selection to the 2025 Texas Rising Stars list—reflecting both her legal skill and her commitment to client service. Grace’s thoughtful, solutions-oriented approach has made her an integral part of the firm’s continued success.

“I am incredibly grateful for the trust, investment, and mentorship I received, both from within the firm and externally, that made this professional milestone possible,” Grace said. “I’m thrilled to step into this new role and continue working with our amazing team to deliver exceptional service to our clients.”

Partners Bradford Adatto, Michael Byrd, and Jay Reyero shared, “Sam and Grace are the kind of people you want on your team. They work hard, care deeply about our clients, and bring great ideas to the table. It’s been fun watching them grow, and we’re genuinely excited for this next chapter together. The future is bright with these two in partner roles.”
