Greg Cardenas joins the ByrdAdatto team as a partner bringing 25 years of legal experience to the firm. With a rich background in healthcare, Greg has worked with the full spectrum of healthcare providers as well as served in both outside and internal general counsel roles in the industry.
“Greg’s experience within healthcare, ranging from regulatory compliance and mergers and acquisitions, makes him an incredible asset to add to our team,” Michael Byrd said.
Michael and Greg have an extensive history. The two continued to stay connected after both studied at Texas Tech University School of Law. In addition to Greg’s legal background, he has a Bachelor of Business Administration from Texas A&M University. His dual expertise in both healthcare and business, make him a strong addition to the ByrdAdatto family.
After garnering experience at a large national firm, Greg formed his own legal practice in 2005 where he was able to focus on personalized services within his healthcare network. Greg later joined his largest client in an in-house general counsel role, leading to an even more diverse experience in advising physicians and other health care providers in the business of health care.

A lifelong Dallas resident, Greg feels he found an untapped niche within the world of healthcare law to explore and cultivate. From private practice to healthcare supply chain management and operations, his experience makes him uniquely positioned to offer clients the full suite of legal services within the healthcare industry.
